Here are some photos of the various options. All of these projects were completed using Nedlandic’s grass pavers. If you have any questions after viewing the photos, please feel free to contact us.
Terra-Grid:
A ground grid is often made of concrete or plastic. The ground grids are made of plastic, which has the advantage of being easy to install. The ground grids have a thoughtful design, more about which you can read here. Ground grids go by several names, here are some examples: grass pavers, paddock tiles, ground grids, paddock grids, grass grid tiles, riding arena grids, parking tiles, and in Belgium, it is often referred to as ‘grasdal.
Plastic Terra-Grids are often used in areas where the ground needs to be firm, but it is nicer or more practical to have grass. Here are some examples of where ground grids are commonly used: riding arenas, paddock floors, parking lots, driveways, embankments, shore reinforcements, airports, around stables, storage areas, meadows, racetracks, passages, dikes, slope stabilization, campsites, and playgrounds. The possibilities are endless.
